Partha Bhattacharjee, an established artist, graduate from Govt. College of Art & Craft Kolkata in 1982. He has participated in more than six solo exhibitions and over fifty group exhibitions at prestigious venues in India and abroad. He was awarded the President of India's silver plaque for the best work for the year 2000-2001 by AIPAC. His works are auctioned for a greater cause and his biography was published in "Shoilpik Jiban Annesa", as an Indian Artist & ‘Contemporary Art in India’ was published in National Museum of Bangkok, Thailand. Partha’s women are from our life, a mother, a companion, a grandma, and above all, a woman playing in all these roles but at the end are one and same.
