A gold medalist in Master of Fine Arts from Rabindra Bharati University and has so far ten solo shows and also participated in over a hundred group exhibitions including at some of the very prestigious galleries in India and abroad. He has won many awards and accolades such as the Silver Medal East Zone Youth Festival, Certificate of Merit, and Rabindra Bharati University Annual Art Exhibition Award. Sekhar’s women are refreshingly in monochrome; bathed in aloofness, they are individual and isolated like an island.
