An artist with a background in commerce, Mr. Banerjee was a student of Visva Bharati, Kalabhavan, Santiniketan. He has proudly bagged several awards and merit certificates in both the domain of sculpture and drawings. He participated in numerous group shows in India and also did a solo exhibition in prestigious galleries like Gallery 88, Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi, etc. In the exhibition ‘Woman Through Time’, Tanmay’s women, drawn in fluid black lines are almost poetic and serene. They have a hint of nostalgia with ‘Birbhum’ as their setting.
