






Unforgettable memories and bonds of a lifetime are created with friends who go way back to their college days. Six women artists from Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan come together in a unique virtual exhibition from 16th to 25th July, 2021.
This virtual walk-through exhibition takes the viewer on a journey of celebrating art with six selected women artists of both national and international repute, today practicing from different parts of India and abroad.

HEMLATA PRADHAN


After finishing her Bachelor degree in Graphics from Kala Bhavan pursued Diploma in Botanical illustration from Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, England and a Masters in Natural History Illustration and Ecological Studies from Royal College of Art London.


MEET THE ARTISTS

MADHUMATI MANDA

Lives and works from her two homes, Kolkata and Virginia. Piu completed her undergraduate as well Postgraduate studies from Kala Bhavan.
Did her Bachelor studies in Painting and now lives and works from Scotland, the charming surroundings inspire her beautiful and majestic landscape paintings and carries the viewer on an enchanting journey.



With her Bachelor and Masters in Textile Design Mitali has a fine understanding and experience of working with fabric. She currently lives and works from Bengaluru.





PRIYANKA BARDIYA



Has her Bachelor in Painting and Masters in History of Art. She has a studio in Pune where she also conducts children’s workshops.

SHWETA P RAINA

Completed her Masters and Bachelor degree from Kala Bhavan and now works from her studio in Delhi NCR. Her fine technical abilities in printing allow her to create layered imagery that narrates the life that is present around her.


STUDIO VISITS
This show attempts to create a deep connection with the artist and her viewer as each artist opens doors to their studio spaces welcoming you and sharing their creative processes.
